"Sherlock Holmes" Sequel is Afoot! This is a featured page

Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr.(August 22, 2009) A Sherlock Holmes sequel is afoot.

Still three months before the first one comes out, Warner Bros. is already putting together a sequel to the new movie.

The studio is thinking of bringing Kieran and Michele Mulroney, the scribes who are penning it's "Justice League: Mortal" tentpole, to pen a draft of the new tale. Brad Pitt has even had discussions with the producers of playing Holmes' nemesis, Professor James Moriarty.

Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law, and Rachel McAdams are supposed to be back for the sequel. With Guy Ritchie as director.

Brad Pitt, who has been rumored to play Moriarty in the first film, has been said that Moriarty will only be a shadow in the movie, and will not be recognised.

Warner Bros. hopes to make many more Holmes sequels to come. With a bunch of new Holmes fans devloping, they are sure this will be one of the best Holmes series the world has ever known.

I can't believe there is a sequel already being planned. They are moving to fast.

And then the fact that Kieran and Michele Mulroney may be in the next one, proves this is not going to be a "Basil" series.

But with Brad Pitt in the film, I think that may give it some interest. And maybe some better scenes.
